Worshipful Master Edsell M. Howard

W.B. Edsell M. Howard, PM W.B. Howard was born in Harlan County Kentucky. Edsell moved to Ohio where he worked at GE Aerospace in Vandalia. Worshipful Brother Howard and his wife Cynthia have two Children, Tracie and Jessica, and have five grandchildren, Elliott 4, Oliver 3, Ivy 3, Vincent 2 and Trevor 3 months. W.B. Howard was raised to the Sublime degree of Master Mason in Englewood Lodge in 1980 and demitted to West Milton Lodge in December 1997. W.B. Howard was elected as Senior Deacon in 1998 progressed through the officer line and has served as Worshipful Master in 2002, 2003. Other Masonic Affiliations W.B. Howard is a member are: Valley of Dayton Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Coleman Commandry 17 Knights Templar, Irish Council 67 Knight Masons Knighted May 2002, Grand Council Royal and Select Masons Franklin Chapter 14, Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Franklin 24. W.B. Howard had perfect attendance at inspections in 2003, 2004, 2005 and has participated in several Grand Master's Classes. John Hamann Brother John Hamann was born in South Bend Indiana and moved to West Milton in 1969. He attended West Milton High school and Montgomery County J.V.S. where he studied Electro-Mechanical Engineering. During his career he has traveled to many foreign countries. In 1990 John married his wife Carroll originally from New Zealand. John and Carroll have a total of five children from previous marriages and have four grand children. For the past 22 years John has worked as an Ohio High School Athletics registered official in Track and Field. John was raised a Master Mason on May 27, 1985. John joined the Scottish Rite on April 7, 2006 and is currently helping in the 15th, 16th and 18th degrees.

Richard J. Reser Brother Reser is a graduate of Valley View High School. After Graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army where he still serves in a reserve capacity today. He is a graduate of the police Academy in 1992, he was employed as a police officer for the Jefferson Township Police Department in 1995. Brother Reser left as a patrol sergeant to start a new career at the Montgomery County Sheriff's office in Dayton. Brother Reser was Raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in March, 2004 and currently serves as Marshal. Brother Reser is also a member of the Valley of Dayton Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, York Rite and Sharon Chapter 132, Order of Eastern Star. Richard and his wife Gina have five children.

Scott Orzechowski Brother Orzechowski was born in Chicago IL. He was the middle child of three children. Scott graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1957 and enrolled at DeVry Institute of Technology, both in Chicago, and graduated from DeVry with an Associates Degree in Electronic Control and Devices. During this period Scott married Patricia in December 1975. Scott and Patricia have a son, Jonathon, who is a Firefighter and EMT in New Paris, Ohio. Brother O, as we call him worked for the Canon Corporation in 1978, advanced with Canon USA to become a leader of his service division and had the top productivity and profit margin within the company. After 20 years with Canon, Scott jumped off the fast track of city life and corporate living, left Chicago and relocated to Richmond IN. where they bought a campground to help others in rest and relaxation. Brother Orzechowski was raised a Master Mason on April 9, 2005 at the Grand Masters Class in Dayton, Ohio. Brother Orzechowski is also a member of the Valley of Dayton Scottish Rite.

Joseph T. Williams Brother Williams was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Joseph petition to become a member of West Milton Lodge in January, 2009 and received his Master Mason degree on May 14, 2009. Brother Williams has shown outstanding interest in learning everything he can about this great Masonic Fraternity. Brother Williams has worked at the Meijer Distribution facility in Tipp City, Ohio for the past four years. Other Masonic affiliations: In September, 2009 he joined Franklin Chapter 24, Royal Arch Masons, also in September he became a Royal and Select Mason in Franklin Chapter 14. Brother Williams is a member of Coleman Commandery 17, an holds the office of Junior Warden, Order of the Knights Templar. In November, 2009 Brother Williams became a 32° Scottish Rite Mason at the Valley of Dayton. On November 5, 2009 Brother Williams was elected as Junior Deacon of West Milton Lodge 577. Brother Williams and his wife Sabrina and their two children reside in Union, Ohio.

R. W. B. Roger L. Gotthardt Right Worshipful Brother Gotthardt grew up in Dayton, Ohio and attended Northridge High School. After High School Brother Gotthardt worked at Delco Moraine Division of General Motors in 1967. In 1983 he was appointed by the United Auto Workers (U.A.W.) International Union as an Employee Assistance Counselor. Brother Gotthardt was elected as President of the Masonic Squaremans Club, the oldest Masonic Club in General Motors in 1992. He retired from General Motors after 32 years in 1998. R.W.B. Gotthardt's Masonic Career started in 1986 there he received his Master Mason Degree in December. He joined the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite in 1987 and worked in various degrees. R.W.B. Gotthardt has received all 32 Scottish Rite Degrees in November, 2003. In 1987 He was elected as Junior Deacon of West Milton Lodge, and progressed through the officers line and was installed as Worshipful Master of the Lodge on December 7, 1991. R.W.B. Gotthardt has held several positions in the Lodge as Lodge Education Officer, Trustee, Endowment Committee, Finance Committee, Flag Committee, Grievance Committee, Investment Committee, Ritual Committee. In January 1999 R.W.B. Gotthardt built and maintains this website, the first Masonic Website in the Great Third District for West Milton Lodge. In November, 2009 elected Webmaster of the Valley of Dayton AASR website. After serving as Master he was elected Secretary in November 1992 and holds that office to date. Appointed as District Representative for the Ohio Secretary Association in 1998. In October 2000, Right Worshipful Brother Gotthardt was appointed as District Deputy Grand Master by Most Worshipful Brother Jack L. Allen, Grand Master of Mason in Ohio. He was also appointed to serve on the Grand Lodge Committee on Education in 2003 and was appointed as Regional Education Officer for District 3 in 2004. In 2008 was appointed to the Grand Lodge Scholarship Committee for the 3rd Masonic District. In April, 2002 R. W. B. Gotthardt was appointed to the Miami Council Prince of Jerusalem line as Master of Ceremonies at the Valley of Dayton Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite where he holds the elected position of Sovereign Prince today. In June, 2009 R.W.B. Gotthardt was appointed as Masonic Trial Commissioner for District 3. Other Masonic bodies R. W. B. Gotthardt is a member of are: Sharon Chapter 132, Order of the Eastern Star, Franklin 24, Royal Arch Masons, is a life member of the Irish Council 67 Knight Masons, Alpha Council 97 Allied Masonic Degrees and holds the position of Senior Warden. Brother Gotthardt is a member of the Honorable Order of the Kentucky Colonels and a member of the West Milton Fraternal Order of Eagles. R. W. B. Gotthardt resides in Englewood, Ohio. |

W. B. William G. O'Brien, M.S.A. Worshipful Brother O'Brien was born in Dayton in 1936. Attended High School at Colonel White, served in the Untied States Air Force from 1954 to 1957. Bill worked for Delco Moraine, Division of General Motors, and served as a Health and Safety Representative. Brother O'Brien was active on the U. A. W. Legislative Committee and the Election Committee and retired in 1999 after 35 years. Worshipful Brother O'Brien is very active in West Milton and Miami County. He was elected in November, 2005 to serve as a Union Township Trustee for Miami County. Bill is also a member of the West Milton Planning Board, the West Milton Board of Adjustments, and the West Milton Community Chest. Worshipful Brother O'Brien has been a Master Mason and a member of West Milton Lodge for 30 years and served as Worshipful Master in 2005. Bill is also a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton, Irish Council 67 Knight Masons. Worshipful Brother was Awarded the Meritorious Service Award in 2008 from the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite and currently holds the office of Orator in the Consistory line.

Andrew B. Williams Andy was born in Jonesville, Virginia. Brother Williams came to Ohio and worked for Dayton Press for 26 years and retired in 1982. Beother Williams has two children and two grand children. Brother Williams was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in October, 1998. He has held the offices of Junior Steward, Senior Steward, and currently Tyler. Andys' other Masonic affiliations are: Member of the Valley of Dayton Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, and Antioch Shrine where he is a member of the Antioch Seniors Unit. Brother Williams is also a member of the West Milton Eagles. Andy and his wife, Bobbie reside in Englewood, Ohio |

W.B. Mark E. Howard W.B. Howard was born in Dayton, Ohio in January, 1964. Mark is a Past State Master of Ohio DeMolay in 1983 and 1984. He was Initiated, Passed and Raised in Knollwood Lodge No. 774. W.B. Howard served as Senior Deacon in 1987, Junior Warden in 1988, Senior Warden in 1989 and Worshipful Master in 1990. Mark also served as Chaplain in 1986 and 1991. W.B. Howard affiliated with West Milton on September 7, 2000 and has served in many capacities at the lodge and is currently serving as Senior Steward. Mark is currently employed at Edward Jones for the past eight years. Other Masonic affiliations W.B. Howard is a member of : Ancient Accepted Scottish Right where he takes part in the 16th degree, 18th degree 31st and 32nd, and many others. On April 25, 2010 W.B. Howard was appointed to the Lodge of Perfection line Captain of the Guards for the Valley of Dayton. Mark is a Past President of the Kettering Jaycees. Mark currently resides in Eaton, Ohio |

Daniel C. Ewing Brother Ewing retired from Delphi Chassis after 37 years in 1998. Dan Joined West Milton Lodge in 2002 in the Grand Master's Class. Brother Ewing has held the offices of Junior Steward, Senior Steward and holds the current office of Marshall. Brother Ewing is also a member of the Valley of Dayton Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Dan and his wife Sharon live in Vandalia, Ohio
